Sea Scout Tree Lot Questions & Answers

Q. Is the tree lot going to be open this year?
A. Absolutely! We open November 26th, and will be open until sold out (historically around the 12th of December) so come early.

Q. Will masks be required?
A. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated individuals.

Q. Will you be limiting the number of people on the lot?
A. Currently no, but we do ask that you respect the space of our other guests and volunteers by social distancing whenever possible .

Q. What steps are you taking to keep the lot clean?
A. All unvaccinated staff will be wearing masks and all staff will be washing hands after every guest interaction. We will be disinfecting high touch surfaces and shared tools after each use. There will also be sanitizer stations at various locations on the lot for your convenience.

Q. What forms of payment do you take?
A. We recommend you utilize our contactless payment option. We will also be accepting all major credit cards, cash, and checks.

Q. Will you be offering curbside service?
A. We have always been of the opinion that every tree is a snowflake and no two are alike. For that reason we don’t offer an option to buy a tree sight unseen. However we will continue to be full service and our volunteers will be available to help you pick out the perfect tree, get it to your car, secured, and on your way home.

Q. Will delivery still be available?
A. Yes, all drivers and delivery people entering your home will be masked in an effort to keep our you and your family safe. We ask for the same from anyone in your home as well in order to do the same for our volunteers.

Q. Are there restrooms available to the public?

A. Unfortunately no, there may be restrooms available at Mitchell Park or the Mitchell Park Library however we cannot guarantee their availability as they are city-run facilities.

We appreciate your continued patronage and happy holidays!
